Service Description

This workshop focuses on first aid needed for life threatening emergencies pertaining to infants and toddlers. The course includes: - Prevention of Emergencies - Recognizing a pediatric emergency - Use and disposal of Personal Protective Equipment - Medical Emergencies: : Seizures and High Fevers : Breathing Problems : Allergic Reaction : Foreign Body in Eye/Ear/Nose : Diarrhea - Injury Emergencies: : Bleeding- cuts and bruises : Bleeding from nose : Uncontrolled bleed : Broken bones and Sprains : Burns : Sting and Bites - CPR and AED : Recognizing cardiac arrest : Compression of chest in pediatric age : Breaths- when and how to give : Use of AED Certificate will be provided at the end of session.
